In a move that’s equal parts savvy and stylish, high-street giant H&M has teamed up with Chamonix-founded luxury ski brand, Perfect Moment, for a 28-piece capsule landing just in time for the holiday ski season.

Dropping December 2nd, the collection aims to bottle Perfect Moment’s performance-led, retro-cool DNA and translate it for the masses. Think of it as the democratization of high-end slope style, a chance to get that Gstaad-adjacent look without the four-figure price tag.

This isn't just another designer logo-slap. It’s a strategic move to capture the "après-ski" aesthetic that continues to dominate winter fashion, from icy city streets to actual mountain lodges.

"We're thrilled to be collaborating with Perfect Moment," says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's Creative Advisor, calling the collection "glamorous yet laid-back."

That’s the key tension. These pieces are designed to look sharp in the lodge, not necessarily survive a backcountry blizzard. Jane Gottschalk, Perfect Moment's founder, confirms it’s an "Apres-Ski capsule," translating the brand’s "distinct brand DNA" for H&M's massive global audience.

The 28-piece line is built for mixing—taking the "chalet-to-city" concept literally.

So, what should you actually try to buy? The hero pieces are, unsurprisingly, the down-filled outerwear.

One standout is a decadent burgundy faux fur puffer with an oversized hood. Another features Perfect Moment’s signature North Star print (a recurring motif) and comes with a jacquard belt to cinch the waist—a detail that immediately elevates it from standard-issue gorpcore.

We’re also focused on the burgundy leather trousers. Cut like traditional ski pants with a subtle bootcut, they’re the perfect anchor piece to style with the collection's tall faux-fur moon boots (short padded versions are also available).

For layering, there's a cozy loop-knit cardigan and a matching (and very '70s)burgundy knitted set. The accessories, especially the oversized star-print wool and mohair scarf, also look particularly strong.
