20 Brands Like Vuori for Men and Women
Four days out of seven, the same pair of joggers. Airport, coffee, the gym you meant to visit, the sofa afterwards. That's what Vuori sells for $110 in the Ponto Performance Jogger, and for $110 again in the women's Sunday Performance Jogger, and the drawer stops making sense once you own two pairs of either.
The problem is what happens next. You want a third pair, in a different weight, from somewhere that hasn't already sold out of your size. Twenty brands made this list, covering men's and women's ranges, because Vuori builds for both and a leggings-only answer leaves half the question open. We checked every storefront ourselves this week and quoted the full price rather than the sale tag. Two brands block automated checks, so we've said so instead of guessing. Four price in Australian dollars, pounds or a currency your region picks for you, and we've flagged each one.
Quick comparison: the closest match on fabric is Alo Yoga for women and BYLT Basics for men. The cheapest ways in are Zella at $59 through Nordstrom and TALA at £52. The most premium are Lululemon and KORAL. For specialists, Ten Thousand handles training, Myles Apparel handles trousers, and Marine Layer handles everything you'd wear on a Sunday.
| Brand | Full price we checked | Who it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Lululemon | Not checkable | Both, and the deepest resale market here |
| Alo Yoga | $78 to $148 USD | Both, with the bigger women's range |
| BYLT Basics | $90 to $128 USD | Men who buy the same jogger in four colours |
| Athleta | $99 USD | Women, and the widest size run in the Gap group |
| Outdoor Voices | $58 to $118 USD | Both, if the all-black wardrobe is wearing thin |
| Ten Thousand | $78 to $128 USD | Men who train five days a week |
| Beyond Yoga | $66 to $108 USD | Both, softness over support |
| Zella | $59 USD | Both, through Nordstrom only |
| Girlfriend Collective | $108 to $118 USD | Women sized XXS to 6XL |
| Free Fly Apparel | $74 to $138 USD | Both, bamboo instead of polyester |
| Fabletics | Not checkable | Both, on a membership |
| Sweaty Betty | $118 to $138 USD | Women who run |
| Marine Layer | $98 to $108 USD | Both, for the days with no workout in them |
| P.E Nation | AUD $89 to $109 | Women who want colour and graphics |
| KORAL | AUD $119 to $145 | Women, shine cut like tailoring |
| Myles Apparel | $138 USD | Men who need one trouser for everything |
| Lorna Jane | AUD $115 | Women, bright prints and pockets |
| TALA | £52 to £64 GBP | Women, the same look for half |
| NOBULL | $45 to $70 USD | Both, gym-first and logo-light |
| Varley | $62 to $118 USD | Women who want the quietest version |
Lululemon
Lululemon covers more ground than Vuori and sits a tier above it, from running kit to trousers you could wear to an office. It's the brand most Vuori shoppers already own something from, which is why it leads this list.
The storefront blocks automated price checks, so we haven't quoted figures here and we won't guess at them. That's a limit of our checking, not a comment on the brand. Prices on the site itself are current, and the resale market for Lululemon runs deeper than for anything else on this page, which changes the arithmetic if you plan to sell pieces on.
Best for: buying once and either keeping it or reselling it. Our premium activewear brands like Lululemon guide maps the price tiers around it.
Alo Yoga

Alo Yoga is the brand people name first when they want a step up in fabric. Alosoft is brushed and light, Airlift is dense and holds you in, and the difference between them is the reason plenty of people own both.
The Alosoft High-Waist 7/8 Highlight Legging is $108 USD and the Airlift High-Waist Suit Up Legging is $144 USD. Men get a smaller but real range: the Waffle Lounge Jogger is $148 USD and the 5" Repetition Short is $78 USD. Our cart confirmed dollars, not pounds.
Best for: the Vuori customer who wants a dressier version of the same drawer. We go deeper in brands like Alo.
BYLT Basics
BYLT Basics is the closest men's answer to Vuori's soft-knit joggers, and the one that prices lowest. The Roamknit Jogger is $98 on its own US storefront, the Reset Jogger is $90, and the Everyday Jogger Pant tops the range at $128.
The catalogue is built around repeat buying rather than seasonal drops. Same jogger, same tee, four colourways, restocked. That suits the way most people wear Vuori, which is one silhouette on rotation instead of a wardrobe of options.
Best for: men replacing a worn pair without paying $110 again.
Athleta

Athleta sits inside Gap Inc. and undercuts Vuori on the piece most people compare. The Elation Ultra High Rise 7/8 Legging is $99 USD, in XXS to 3X, with regular, tall and petite lengths on the same product page.
The look is sportier than Vuori's. Where Vuori leans towards clothes you'd travel in, Athleta stays closer to the studio and the trail, with more visible seaming and more technical fabric names. The women's range is the whole business, so men should look elsewhere.
Best for: a workout legging under $100 that fits outside standard sizing. More options in brands like Athleta.
Outdoor Voices

Outdoor Voices argues against the neutral wardrobe, and it's the entry here with the most colour. The women's TechSweat Core 7/8 Legging is $118 USD at full price. Men get CloudKnit, with the Slim Sweatpant at $88 USD and the 7" Short at $58 USD.
Worth knowing before you shop: a 30% sitewide discount was running when we checked, and our cart charged $82.60 for a $118 legging. Much of the catalogue sits on markdown at any given moment, so the figures above are the ceiling rather than what you'll pay.
Best for: the week when another black set feels like a uniform.
Ten Thousand
Ten Thousand makes men's training kit and nothing else. There's no women's collection, and the catalogue runs to about seventy products, which is a fraction of what Vuori carries.
Shorts are the whole argument. The Foundation Short in 7-inch is $88 USD, the Interval Short runs $88 to $98 USD across lengths from 5 to 9 inches, and the Distance Short is $128 USD. The Midweight Tech Fleece Short is $78 USD. Liners, inseams and pocket layouts are specified per model rather than left to chance.
Best for: men who lift or run and want the shorts decided properly.
Beyond Yoga

Beyond Yoga makes the softest fabric of the twenty. Spacedye is heathered rather than flat, and the Spacedye Vitalize Full Length Legging is $108 USD with the Walk And Talk High Waisted Capri at $99 USD.
Men are covered too, in a smaller way. The Always Beyond Men's Crew Tee is $66 USD and the Long Sleeve Crew is $74 USD. One caution: the site reprices by region, and our cart came back in pounds at £82 for the $108 legging, so check the currency before you commit.
Best for: the half of Vuori's appeal that has nothing to do with exercise. We compare them head to head in Beyond Yoga vs Vuori.
Zella
Zella has no storefront of its own. It's a Nordstrom private label, so Nordstrom is the only place to buy it, and that's the trade for the price.
The Live In High Waist 7/8 Legging lists at $59 USD, in 88% polyester and 12% spandex, and was showing at $39.99 in the Anniversary Sale when we looked. There's a men's assortment as well, covering performance tees, polos, golf shorts and outerwear. Nothing here reaches Vuori's fabric quality, and nothing here asks Vuori's price either.
Best for: stocking up on both sides of the wardrobe for the cost of one Vuori jogger.
Girlfriend Collective

Girlfriend Collective runs the widest size range of any brand here. The Compressive High-Rise Legging is $108 USD in XXS through 6XL, across three inseams at 23.75, 28 and 31 inches. The Compressive Pocket Legging is $118 USD.
Colour is where it overlaps with Vuori. Lichen, Stone, Umber and Rain are the kind of muted shades Vuori builds a season around, and the compression fabric has a matte finish instead of a sheen. There's no men's collection, so this one is women only.
Best for: anyone who's been sized out of a brand before. If the eco claims in this category interest you, our guide to how to tell if a brand is sustainable covers what to check.

Free Fly Apparel
Free Fly Apparel builds its range on bamboo viscose instead of straight polyester, and the Bamboo Lightweight Hoodie lists at 70% viscose from bamboo and 30% polyester. That changes how a hoodie feels against skin in August.
Men's pricing starts at $74 USD for the Bamboo Lightweight Hoodie and runs to $104 USD for the Bamboo Lightweight Fleece Hoodie and $128 USD for the Northcoast Fleece Pullover. Women's sits a little higher, with the Bamboo Shade Hoodie II at $98 USD and the Northcoast Fleece Full Zip at $138 USD. Both ranges are full ranges, not an afterthought.
Best for: hot-weather layers, and anyone who finds synthetic fleece clammy.
Fabletics
Fabletics runs on a membership rather than straight retail pricing, which makes it the odd one out here and also the cheapest way in for a full set. Men's and women's ranges both exist, and new colourways land monthly instead of seasonally.
The site blocks automated checks, and the UK arm at fabletics.co.uk blocks them too, so we haven't quoted prices. Read the membership terms on the site before you order, because the pricing you see depends on which tier you're in.
Best for: building a rotation quickly. Our brands like Fabletics comparison covers the alternatives at that price.
Sweaty Betty

Sweaty Betty is the most technical women's brand here, and compression is the dividing line against Vuori. Power Workout Leggings are $134 USD on the US storefront, the cropped version is $118 USD, and the Runner's High Power Legging is $138 USD.
Vuori's fabrics are built to feel like nothing. Power is built to hold, which changes what you'd reach for on a running day. The quiet end of the range takes more filtering to find, since prints and colour-blocking make up a good share of it.
Best for: one legging that handles lifting and running without a second pair.
Marine Layer
Marine Layer is a San Francisco label built on soft knits and fleece rather than performance fabric, which makes it the closest match to the half of Vuori's range that never sees a workout.
The Cloud 9 Fleece Sweatpant is $108 USD for men and $98 USD for women, in a fleece the brand names for how it feels rather than what it wicks. Marine Layer's own about page calls the company a Certified B Corp and says its Re-Spun take-back programme has diverted 650,000 lbs of clothing from landfill. Everything sits looser than Vuori's fits.
Best for: the sofa half of a Vuori wardrobe, without pretending it's for training.
P.E Nation
P.E Nation is the Australian label that goes the opposite way from Vuori's neutrals. Colour-blocking, retro graphics and cut lines that read across a room.
Prices are in Australian dollars on the storefront that answered us, so factor conversion and duty if you're ordering from elsewhere. The Striker Full Length Legging is AUD $89, the Reflect Full Length Legging is AUD $99 and the Fairmont Full Length Legging is AUD $109. Our cart confirmed AUD $89 on the Striker.
Best for: one loud set in an otherwise neutral drawer.
KORAL
KORAL is the glossiest brand in this comparison, priced above Vuori and cut closer to tailoring than sportswear. The Lustrous finish is the signature, a wet sheen that catches light across a black legging.
The Lustrous Infinity High Rise Legging is AUD $125, the cropped version is AUD $119 and the Exceed Blackout High Rise Legging is AUD $145. Those are Australian dollars, on the storefront that responded to us. The black pieces read as evening clothes under a coat, which is a long way from a Vuori jogger.
Best for: leggings you'd wear to dinner, if the exchange rate doesn't put you off.
Myles Apparel
Myles Apparel solves the men's problem Vuori's joggers can't, which is a trouser you can wear to a meeting. The Tour Pant is $138 USD and holds a crease that a knit jogger never will.
The catalogue is small at just over a hundred products, all men's, so there's little to browse. Fabric weights run heavier than Vuori's Ponto line and the fits read tailored rather than relaxed, which is the trade you make for a trouser that behaves in a meeting.
Best for: men who need one trouser that covers the office and the flight home.
Lorna Jane

Lorna Jane is the Australian brand that's been doing this since long before athleisure had a name, and it's the brightest thing here.
Currency needs care. The global site prices in whatever currency it picks for your region, and it served us Singapore dollars unprompted. On the Australian store the Amy No Ride 2 Pocket Full Length Legging is AUD $115, which our cart confirmed. Pocket placement and no-ride waistbands are the details the range is built around.
Best for: women who want prints and pockets rather than another neutral.
TALA

TALA is the British answer, founded in 2019 by Grace Beverley, and it undercuts most of this list by half. The SkinLuxe No Front Seam Legging is £52 GBP, the DayFlex Wrap High Waisted Legging is £59 GBP and the DayFlex Wrap Flared Yoga Pant is £64 GBP.
Prices display in pounds, and our cart came back at £52. The naming convention tells you what each fabric does before you read the description, which makes the site quicker to shop than most. Shades like Americano and Mocha Brown put it in the same territory as Vuori's neutrals, cut closer to the body.
Best for: replacing a Vuori set without changing what your wardrobe looks like.
NOBULL
NOBULL is a training brand that starts on the gym floor rather than at the airport, and it carries men's and women's ranges of roughly equal weight, which is rare among Vuori alternatives.
The Men's NOBULL Drive Short 6" is $70 USD unlined and the Women's U High-Rise Matte Short 6" is $45 USD. One thing to watch: the cart reprices by region, and ours came back in pounds, so confirm the currency at checkout. Branding is minimal, which is the trait Vuori shoppers usually care about.
Best for: training clothes with no logo down the leg.
Varley

Varley is the quietest of the twenty. Black on black, no branding, nothing that reads as gym kit once you leave the studio.
The Always High-Rise Legging in 25 inches is $118 USD, the FreeSoft High-Rise Legging is $98 USD and the FreeSoft High-Rise Short in 5 inches is $62 USD. There's no men's collection, so this is a women's answer only. Fabric does most of the work in the price, and the restraint does the rest.
Best for: women who found Vuori's palette loud. We put them side by side in Varley vs Vuori.
Where to Start If Vuori Already Owns Your Drawer
For men, start with BYLT Basics at $90 to $128 if you want the same jogger for less, Ten Thousand at $88 if the gym is the real use case, and Myles Apparel at $138 if the gap in your wardrobe is a trouser. Our brands like Vuori for men guide goes further into that side.
For women, Alo Yoga at $108 and Beyond Yoga at $108 are the nearest matches on fabric, Varley at $98 is the quietest, and TALA at £52 holds the look for roughly half. Girlfriend Collective is the one to check first if standard sizing has failed you before.
Four brands from the previous version of this list have gone. Kip & Co turned out to be a homewares company with sleepwear and swimwear but no activewear at all. Noli Yoga has become The Noli Shop and now sells denim and womenswear rather than yoga kit. Cryo Body has no store behind the name, and prAna's site refused every check we ran.
