18 Brands Like MeUndies for Comfort Without a Membership
The pair turns up whether you remembered it or not. That's the arrangement at MeUndies, which sells through a monthly Membership: a pair ships every month unless you go in and skip it, and the prices on the site are member prices. Its own help centre is blunt about what happens if you leave. Cancel, and "our products will return to their original price."
Plenty of people like that deal. If you'd rather buy one pair, at one price, with nothing renewing behind you, the 18 brands below all do that.
We checked every one of them against its own storefront this week and added a real pair to the cart to confirm the shop still takes orders. Prices are full price, not sale price, and the currency is stated each time. Three names from the last version of this list are gone, and we say why at the end. One thing we couldn't do: read meundies.com. The site answers automated requests with a security check, so we have no current MeUndies prices to put next to these.

Savage X Fenty
Savage X Fenty is the one brand here that swaps one subscription for another, and its terms are steeper than the one you're leaving. The brand's own help centre sets them out: skip between the 1st and 5th of the month and you pay nothing, and if you don't, "you'll be billed $69.95 on the 6th until you cancel your Membership." That charge returns as a $69.95 Member Credit you can spend on a purchase of $69.95 or more, and after every fifth billing you get "a complimentary underwear pack or bra".
You can also shop as a guest, which is the honest answer for most people reading this. Rihanna's label dresses men and women, so boxer briefs sit alongside the bras and lace, and the size run is one of the widest in intimates. Two practical notes: savagex.com prices by country and served us the UK storefront, and the old Xtra VIP name is retired, so the programme to search for is the Savage X Rewards Membership.
Best for: prints and lace in a wide size run, bought as a guest.
ThirdLove
ThirdLove sells women's underwear and nothing else. There's no men's range anywhere in the 349-product catalogue, so a household that shops MeUndies together can't do the same here. Thongs are $20, bikinis and hipsters $22, briefs $24 and the anti-chafe shorts $28, all USD.
The Organic Cloud Cotton Hipster is $22 and lists as 93% organic cotton with 7% spandex. ThirdLove names no certifying body for that organic claim, and its sustainability page carries no GOTS, OEKO-TEX or B Corp mark, so read "organic cotton" there as the brand's own description rather than an audited one.
Best for: fit-first women's basics in plain colours.
Tommy John
Tommy John is the closest thing on this list to MeUndies without the standing order. It dresses men and women, and underwear is the whole business here, from the sizing to the fabric names. Men's pairs run $28 to $40 and women's $18 to $26, USD, confirmed on a live cart.
The Women's Air Brief is $22 and the men's Cool Cotton Trunk 4" is $34. Fabric names do a lot of work in this catalogue (Cool Cotton, Second Skin, DriComfort), and the price step between them is real: Second Skin trunks reach $40 while the Ultra Soft Flex trunk starts at $28.
Best for: buying for two people out of one basket.
Aerie
Aerie sells women's intimates and loungewear, and it sits at the budget end of this list. We can't put a number on that this week. Aerie.com and ae.com both refuse automated requests, and every path we tried came back 403, so there's no verified price to quote here.
That gap is worth stating rather than filling. What the range is for hasn't changed: printed and plain cotton women's underwear in a wide size run, bought a pair at a time with nothing renewing. Our underwear brands like Aerie guide covers the range in more detail than we could pull today.
Best for: women's prints on a budget, once you've checked the price yourself.
Jockey
Jockey is the oldest name on this list and it covers men and women, with separate underwear catalogues live for each. Cuts run from boxer briefs, trunks and jock straps on the men's side to bikinis, thongs and briefs on the women's.
Prices we could not verify. Jockey's category pages render entirely in the browser and the site answers automated requests with a security challenge, so nothing we tried returned a figure. One thing the homepage did tell us: it was advertising up to 30% off underwear, which means anything on screen right now is a sale price. Wait for the promotion to end if you want to know what a pair costs.
Best for: plain, durable basics when you don't want a brand story.
Hanky Panky
Hanky Panky is women's only, and the one product it's known for is the Signature Lace thong at $24 USD. Three-packs are $54 and a five-pack runs $120. The stretch lace is the whole proposition, and it's a long way from MeUndies' printed modal.
Read the men's-sounding names carefully. The Signature Lace Original Rise Thong is the core buy, while the "Supima Cotton Boxer Brief" in the same catalogue is a women's cut, described on its own page as a version of a tomboy boxer to wear under a dress. The OEKO-TEX claim on the fabric guide belongs to the mills, not to Hanky Panky: the page says the fabric "is knitted, dyed and finished in Italy. Oeko-Tex® 100 Certified."
Best for: lace that doesn't dig in.
Uniqlo
Uniqlo is the cheapest way off a subscription, and it covers men and women. On the US site, cotton briefs and boxer briefs are $7.90 and the AIRism Boxer Briefs are $14.90, both USD. Women's bikini briefs, boyshorts and hiphuggers are also $7.90.
AIRism is the line worth paying the extra $7 for. It's a lightweight synthetic knit built to dry fast, which is the opposite of the heavy modal MeUndies is known for, and it's the reason people buy Uniqlo underwear for hot weather and travel instead of lounging.
Best for: stocking a drawer for under $100.
Calvin Klein
Calvin Klein is the logo waistband, and that's most of the appeal. MeUndies sells you a print no one else sees. Calvin Klein sells you a band of text above the waistline of your jeans, and it prices at the premium end for it.
Check the address before you check the price. Calvinklein.us redirected us to calvinklein.co.uk on every request from this machine, so the currency you're quoted depends on where the site thinks you are, and we couldn't confirm a US price at all. Best for: the waistband, if that's what you're buying.
Cosabella
Cosabella makes Italian lace for women, with no men's range across a catalogue of more than 1,250 items. Thongs run $26 to $36, bikinis and cheeky briefs $28 to $38, and the Never Say Never core sits at $29.75 to $39.75, all USD.
The Never Say Never Comfie Thong at $29.75 is the piece the brand is built on. One caution on the eco reading: OEKO-TEX appears on exactly three Soire Iconic colourways, worded as "OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Fabric made in Italy", and nowhere else on the site. That's three products, not a company badge.
Best for: lace you'd wear on an ordinary Tuesday.
SKIMS
SKIMS sells underwear for men and women, with more than 300 men's product pages live alongside the women's range. What it won't do is show you one price. The site routes you to your country's storefront, and we couldn't pin the US one from here, so what we can report is what the UK store served: £14 for the Ultra Fine Lace Micro Thong and £84 for the men's Cotton 5" Boxer Brief five-pack.
Everything here sits in a narrow palette of nudes, greys and black, and the fabric is smooth, with no prints at all. If you came to MeUndies for the prints, this is the wrong shelf. Best for: quiet colours and a wide men's range.
Knix
Knix covers both, and it's the closest match here to the MeUndies idea of underwear that solves a problem. Women's pairs run $25 to $48 USD, and the men's MNTD x Knix line puts the Men's EverDry Cotton Boxer Brief at $30. The Super Leakproof Cotton Bikini is $29.
Knix holds no textile certifications at all. What it does instead is commission its own lab tests for PFAS and organic fluorine and publish the results, and it says in writing that it "cannot promise that a product will make it to customers PFAS free." Best for: leakproof pairs you don't have to think about.
Eberjey
Eberjey is a sleepwear house that also sells women's underwear, and the split matters. Of 729 products, 29 are lingerie against 169 in the Gisele sleep line. Underwear bottoms run $48 to $58 USD, which is double what most of this list charges.
There's a men's range, and it's pyjamas. The Henry and William sets run $148 to $298 and there's no men's underwear behind them, so don't read "Eberjey does men" as a MeUndies swap. On certification, Eberjey's about page states that it "holds OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification", while the silk pages credit the mill: fabric "produced using bluesign®-certified processes and verified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100."
Best for: a matching sleep set, with the underwear as a side order.
Bonds
Bonds is Australian, and it prices in Australian dollars. Single pairs run AUD 14.99 to AUD 34.99 across a 439-item underwear range, with women's bikinis at the bottom of that and men's trunks at the top. The Originals Mid Trunk is AUD 31.99 at full price.
If you're shopping from the US, know what you're signing up for. There's no American storefront: bondsusa.com is a domain listed for sale and bonds.com belongs to a corporate bond-trading firm, so an order means buying from Australia and paying whatever shipping and duty come with it. The printed waistbands and the family sizing are the draw, and they're a genuine MeUndies match on spirit.
Best for: colourful cotton basics, if the freight maths works for you.
SAXX
SAXX is men's only. There's no women's collection on the site, and a search for one returns nothing, so this is half a household at best. Pairs run $25 to $36 USD across 591 products, and we confirmed the store takes orders by putting a Daytripper Comfort Stretch pair ($30) through a live cart.
The pouch is the reason people switch and stay switched. Non-Stop Stretch Cotton is the $27 entry point, the Ultra Super Soft sits at $36, and the DropTemp Cooling Cotton at $33 is the one to try if heat is your complaint. Note the address: saxx.com redirects to saxxunderwear.com, which is the real storefront.
Best for: men who want the fit fixed, not the print.
Natori
Natori sells women's underwear only. The men's items on natori.com are medical scrubs, not intimates, which is an easy thing to misread from a category menu. Underwear runs $22 to $35 USD, with the Bliss Bare Cotton Hipster at $22 and the Feathers Hipster at $32.
Natori's OEKO-TEX claim is one of the more precise ones we found. Product pages name the certificate and the testing house: "OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified,# 23.HUS.17957, by test institute HOHENSTEIN HTTI", repeated across 347 products. That's a fabric certificate with a number you can look up, which is more than most brands here offer.
Best for: printed silk and lace with a paper trail on the fabric.
Lacoste
Lacoste sells underwear for men and women on its US site, in dollars, with the men's range doing most of the work. Men's full prices run $30 to $66: single boxer briefs at $30, three-packs at $43 to $45, five-packs at $60. Women's briefs are $35, cycle shorts $40 and bralettes $50.
Watch what you're comparing. Much of the range was marked down when we looked, with the 3-Pack Cotton Boxer Briefs showing $30.99 against a $45 full price, so the number you see and the number the brand normally charges are two different things. Buy it for the cotton and the crocodile, and don't expect the fabric technology the specialists sell.
Best for: plain cotton with a logo, bought on sale.
Organic Basics
Organic Basics dresses men and women and undercuts almost everything else here. Women's Core Briefs, thongs, tangas and shorties are $15, the Core Rib and Flex cuts $18, and men's Core Trunks come in three-packs at $54, all USD on the US store.
Shop the right address. us.organicbasics.com prices in dollars, while organicbasics.com is the European store and prices in euros, and switching currency there doesn't move you to the US shop. On certification, the company holds GOTS, OCS, GRS and RWS scope certificates under Control Union CU 1067589 and is a certified B Corp, but its own materials page repeats the limit four times: "Only products carrying the GOTS label and claim are certified." Best for: certified organic cotton at $15 a pair, if you read the labels.
TomboyX
TomboyX is the one brand here that doesn't sort its underwear by gender at all. Sizes run 3XS to 6X across 281 underwear products, and the cuts include tucking and packing styles no other brand on this list makes. Single pairs start at $26 USD.
Boy Shorts are $26 in a dozen colourways, and the First Line Period Bikini is also $26. The prints are closer in spirit to MeUndies than anything else here, with rainbow logo waistbands and seasonal drops, and the fabric choices run from bamboo rib to TENCEL modal. The brand was founded in 2013 and describes itself as queer and women-founded.
Best for: a size range and a cut range most brands don't touch.
Which One to Buy Instead
Start with who you're buying for, because that's where this list splits hardest. ThirdLove, Hanky Panky, Cosabella and Natori are women's only. SAXX is men's only. Tommy John, Uniqlo, Knix, SKIMS, Organic Basics and TomboyX will dress a whole household out of one order.
Then decide what the money is for. Uniqlo at $7.90 and Organic Basics at $15 are the cheapest routes out of a monthly plan, Tommy John and SAXX are where fit engineering lives, and Eberjey and Cosabella are a treat rather than a drawer refill.
Three brands left this list since the last version. Lively's shop is gone: wearlively.com now serves b.tempt'd by Wacoal, and livelybrand.com points at a website-builder page. Peony's address no longer resolves and no consumer storefront replaced it. Etsy came off because a marketplace of thousands of sellers isn't a brand you can compare on price or fit.
