Lascivious is a London label established in 2004 that produces its lingerie in the UK, and it's the closest thing on this list to Mariemur's construction-first approach. Agent Provocateur
Agent Provocateur is the British house that made theatrical lingerie a mainstream luxury purchase, founded in 1994 by Joseph Corré and Serena Rees. Its Soho flagship is still the shop most people picture when they picture this category.

Oh La La Cheri has been going since 2007 and it refuses to split its standard and plus ranges into different designs, so the daring cut you want exists in your size rather than in a watered-down version of it.

Marlies Dekkers is a Dutch label whose signature is a graphic strap laid across the cup and around the bust, which makes it the cheapest route to the strapping look Mariemur sells in leather.
Prices are in euros. A butterfly thong from the Rebel in Lace line costs €79.95, the plunge balcony bra in the same line €159.95, and the Seduction range starts at €54.95 for briefs. The straps are decorative rather than adjustable hardware, so they don't do what a Bordelle harness does, and the price reflects that.
Best for: a strapped silhouette under a plain T-shirt on a Tuesday.
Where to Start If You're Only Buying One Piece
Start with what you want the piece to do. If it's the harness itself, go to Bordelle and buy the collar or the stockings before the skirt, because the strapping is the thing you're testing and £78 is a fair price to test it at. If you want a full look for one night, Honey Birdette sells it as a set and saves you the guesswork.
For everything else, price sorts the list quickly. Bluebella, Oh La La Cheri and Marlies Dekkers all land under £100 or its equivalent. Lascivious, Coco de Mer and Kiki de Montparnasse are where the construction justifies the money, and Journelle is the low-risk way to try several of them at once.
