What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept American Express, Master Card, Visa, PayPal.

Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

Yes! We understand that the safety of your personal information is extremely important to you. We use a wide array of electronic and physical security measures and devices to protect your personal data and credit card information from unauthorized access.

Is it safe to use my debit card online?

Yes! And please note: If you choose to pay by debit card, the amount you charge will be put on "hold", meaning it will not be available to you once you place your order. Once your transaction is processed, the amount of the transaction will be withdrawn from your account and the original "hold" will be voided.

Do you allow Cashier's Checks or Money Orders?

At this time we do not accept Cashier's Checks or Money Orders.

Do you charge sales tax on any item?

We are required by law to collect sales tax on orders shipped to New York. If you are shipping to an address in the state of New York the appropriate charges will be added to your merchandise total and displayed on your final order confirmation.

What is PayPal?

PayPal is a payment method for online purchases enabling buyers and businesses to send and receive money online. As of today, PayPal has over 100 million member accounts in 190 countries and regions. One advantage of using PayPal payment method is that it offers faster, safer and easier checkouts and promises to protect customers from revealing their credit card and other financial information to the merchant.

How do I sign up for PayPal?

You can sign up for a PayPal account by going to https://www.paypal.com.

How do I use a Paypal payment option on apartstyle.com?

Existing PayPal users who would like to use PayPal payment method when placing an order can click on the "Checkout with PayPal" button when checking out. New PayPal users who would like to use PayPal as a payment method will be redirected to the PayPal website to sign up for an account and will be presented with the "Checkout with PayPal" option when they get back to the apartstyle.com web site.

What do I do if I have questions about my PayPal account?

You may contact PayPal customer service by calling 888-221-1161 or go to https://www.paypal.com for support and additional information.

How is billing done for PayPal?

Customers who sign up for a PayPal account must sign a Billing Agreement, which will authorize the merchant to take out their payments directly from their PayPal account. Only then can the customer be able to control how to pay for their purchases. For detailed information, customers can contact PayPal customer service by calling 888-221-1161.

When are funds transferred out of my PayPal account for my APART order?

PayPal withdraws money from your PayPal account immediately after checkout. If the balance is lower than the total payment, PayPal offers credit products or the option to pay from your bank account or a credit card. Customers who do not have a PayPal account at this point will need to use a valid credit card to complete the payment. For detailed information, customers can contact PayPal customer service by calling 888-221-1161. Do you do back orders? No. apartstyle.com does not do back orders. If an item is out of stock we will notify you as soon as possible and ask if you would like a replacement item. Out of stock orders will be canceled unless a replacement item is requested.

Promotions and Coupons

Occasionally APART North America will offer promotions that can be redeemed on apartstyle.com. Promotions and discounts, including free shipping will be communicated on the website, through emails, and direct marketing, such as mailers.

To redeem a promotion perform the following steps:

Go to www.apartstyle.com

Select the items you wish to purchase, add them to Your Closet and proceed to checkout. On the Order Summary page click on the button Redeem a Promotional Code and enter your promotional code in the appropriate field.

Click continue, this will apply the promotional code value to your balance.

Prices for the items valid for the discount will be reduced by the amount of the promotion and reflected in your ORDER SUMMARY.

The following restrictions apply:

  • To qualify for a specific promotion, your order must be placed during the specified promotion period.
  • Some promotional offers may not be combined with other offers in the same order.
  • Your order may need to be of a certain dollar amount to qualify.
  • You may need alphanumeric promotion code (sometimes referred to as "Promotion code"). Enter this code in the appropriate filed by clicking on the Redeem Promotional Code button during the checkout process. Prices and shipping charges, if applicable, will be adjusted according to the applied promotion, with the discount reflected in your ORDER TOTAL.
  • Only one promotional code may be used per order. Offer may be used only once unless otherwise specified.
  • When available, Free shipping offers are valid on standard shipping for orders placed at Apartstyle.com with a specified minimum purchase. Standard shipping not available in AK, HI or PR.
  • Taxes, shipping and handling fees, or purchases of gift cards do not count towards the qualifying amount.
  • The offer may only apply to certain product categories such as "sweaters", "dresses? etc.
  • Offers are only valid on Apartstyle.com.
  • Offers are not valid on purchases of gift cards.
  • Offer is not for resale and is not redeemable for cash.
  • No adjustments to prior purchases, and cannot be applied to returned merchandise.

Registration

When you register and create your account with apartstyle.com, we'll remember your information so that the checkout process is a breeze. You'll also be able to store all your addresses and check your order history too.

Can I place an order without your registering?

Yes, you can. But by creating an account and saving your information you will be able to check out faster, review past order details, and get the latest on new arrivals and sales.

What will you do with my information after I register?

Personal information relating to you and your order history are only available to you if you provide the correct password that you create. After providing your password, you can edit or delete your information at any time from the "your account" page.

What if I forget my password?

No problem. Just click the EMAIL PASSWORD button and your password will be emailed to your email address on file.

How do you know my name when I visit your site?

We use the Secure Socket Layer protocol to protect the security of your online order information. SSL technology encrypts your order information to protect it from being decoded by anyone other than APART

Do you have a catalog?

No, currently we have a 'virtual' catalog. Our entire product line is online; we do not have a physical catalog.

Returns

I want to return my purchase! What do I do?

If you are not 100% satisfied, you can return your item(s) for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. We will process your refund and automatically apply a credit to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take 2 billing cycles after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.

What is your Returns Policy?

Returns and exchanges are accepted on merchandise within 30 days of receipt for items that HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, and with ALL tags attached. Please complete the return/exchange portion of your invoice and include it with your package. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

When will my credit card be refunded?

Once your package has been received at apartstyle.com, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within seven business days. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from apartstyle.com.

Can I return or exchange my internet and catalogue purchases at a store?

Unfortunately, you can only return to apartstyle.com merchandise bought on apartsrtyle.com. Detailed instructions along with our mailing address for returns and exchanges can be found below under "Where do I send my return or exchange"

Note: we will ship exchanged merchandise or issue a refund or credit as soon as your return has been received and processed. Please note that exchanged merchandise of equal or lesser value will be shipped with no additional shipping and handling charges. Logging In

Why am I not able to log in to my account?

If you have not logged in to your account in the past 90 days, it will no longer be active and you will need to create a new account. Also remember that usernames, email addresses and passwords are case sensitive. If you need your password sent to you, our Password Reminder will send it to the e-mail address you used when you registered.

Order Status

When checking on the status of my order I received an "In Process" message. What does that mean?

"In Process" means that your order is in the early stages of shipping. Changes to your order cannot be made during this time, but you can always call to make a return or exchange once your order has arrived.

How can I check the status of my order?

To check the status of your order, please click Order Status link at the bottom of every page. Please remember you must be logged-in to your account or you must have your order number and e-mail address to check the status of your order.

Shipping and Tracking

My order has shipped but I still can't track it. How can I find out where it is?

The tracking number for your order can be found on the Shipping Confirmation Email or on Your Account page at apartstyle.com. To track the status of your shipment, please go to ups.com and enter your tracking number in the appropriate field. Tracking information may not be available for the first 24 to 48 hours after you receive your shipping confirmation email. If 48 hours have passed and you're still unable to track your order, please call 646.321.1812 or email justask@apartstyle.com.

Why am I paying tax on shipping and handling?

State tax regulations require that we collect sales tax on shipping and handling where applicable. All sales taxes that are collected are paid to the state where the tax is collected and merchandise has been shipped.

How is sales tax determined?

The sales tax rate and imposition is determined by the location where the merchandise is being shipped.

How do I calculate the shipping and handling for my order?

Shipping and handling charges are determined by the merchandise dollar amount of your order before any special offer deductions or sales tax calculation. To see our shipping and handling rates, please visit our customer service page.
